Located in the Salina Airport Industrial Complex

Scientific Engineering Inc. is an employee-owned company founded in 1965 and located in the Salina Airport Industrial Complex. Over the years our facilities have grown from 3600 sq. ft. to 16,000 sq. ft. of manufacturing area with an additional 12,000 sq. ft. of warehousing.

Scientific Engineering Inc. enjoys a very broad base of accomplishment. We’ve made everything from high precision components for the Government to replacement parts for locks and dams, including the Panama Canal, from lamp production equipment and high speed food processing equipment to basic repair work and just about everything in between.

With over 150 years of collective experience we can help you with your repair or manufacturing needs. For more than 40 years our philosophy has been to produce quality work to meet the needs of our customers.

Our capabilities include both large and small machining, with milling capacity of 50” sq. x 98” long and turning capacity up to 54” diameter and 100” long. Our precision fabricating section offers a variety of welding processes, and we specialize in stainless steel fabrication.

Our engineering department capabilities include CAM development of complex surfaces and has the ability to import and export drawings in most formats including ACAD, INVENTOR, IGS and more.
